Have done some cleaning to this page

Waiting for the stew to cool enough to put away in the fridge...the cat has vanished; and I am trying to remember what I was working on before we ate dinner.

It's late, I have dishes waiting to be washed, and my left ankle does not feel real good -- the heating pad has helped, but I gotta get things settled so I can get some much needed sleep.

Back in a few minutes.

    11:59 pm -- 20 March2019 -- First Day of Spring

    It was a warm sunny day, with not much business done at the store.
    Thursday will be day one of the Genealogy seminar(s) -- Susan and I will need to be at the Nichols Library around 9:45am.
    That means I should be turning all the digital items off with in the next few minutes; so I will be rested, and ready to pay "full" attention during th session(s). Lunch is prepped, and in a sandwich box on the fridge shelf.
    No, I am not really wanting to call a night -- but after nearly a week on Daylights' savings time, my body is adjusting. I am getting warm, and very, very groggy.
    I saved many of my recent weblinks to a page file; and closed down all but about 2 dozen...may try to shut down a few more in the morning. For now though, I want to close this entry, and get a few more small thing done before closing the ChromeBook.
    Will catch up with you sometime after the Thursday seminar.

Yesterday was Dad's birthday -- "I still miss you deeply, Dad."

Did not get much done yesterday, or for that matter...today either.
Howard drove Susan to the Atlanta Airport, for a long-weekend in NC.
He just arrived back here about 5 minutes ago.

Just dusting off some cobwebs...Trying to forget my sore gums. Not sure the virus, but all recommendations say hot or cold packs, to ease pain and reduce swelling. So I have an ice pack snuggled up to my face/jaw for as long as I can stand it.
"Cobweb" is inside for the night due to cold weather. She was snoring earlier.>BR> Dave is snoring/sleeping on the sofa, and I am awkwardly propped up in front of the Chromebook.
Oh yeah --- HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Will be back to add more to this site, at some point. For now, I may watch video or read a book before shutting the lights off for the night. -- C A Abernathy

Doing a bit of fine-tuning on several links within this page/site. Other than this, these pages should be very much as they were when I first built them. I have been gathering pieces from ALL my online collections of pages, sites, blogs and Genealogy Databases -- it has been quite a chore; and I know I probably have missed several thus far -- being online since 1996, there has been a lot of territory that I have covered.

"Tripod" was my first site -- and their page composer helped me to learn how to code HTML, and lead to paid job for a while. Thank you, Tripod!

The recent additions and improvements have made 'spring-cleaning' even easier for this site. I do hope you enjoy what I have posted here.
